The operator of a heavy vehicle is responsible for ensuring that each vehicle is roadworthy.
A daily check is a quick visual inspection that can be undertaken on a heavy vehicle prior to leaving the yard, depot or rest area.

This declaration is a critical component of ARDA Logistics' commitment to safety and compliance under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation. It serves as your personal confirmation that you are fit to safely operate a heavy vehicle before commencing duties.
Your Responsibilities:
You have a legal and professional obligation to ensure you are fit to drive and perform your duties safely.
If at any time you believe you are NOT fit to drive, you must immediately notify your supervisor/manager and DO NOT commence driving - Contact Vehbi Immediately on 0405 530 075
You are legally required to inform Transport for NSW (TfNSW) of any long-term injury, illness, or medical condition that may affect your ability to drive safely.

I have read and understood the ARDA Logistics "Fit to Drive" requirements.
I have truthfully and accurately answered all questions in Section A.
Based on my self-assessment, I confirm that I am currently fit and capable of safely performing all duties required of an ARDA Logistics driver, including operating a heavy vehicle, without presenting a risk to myself, other road users, or the public.
I understand that it is my ongoing responsibility to ensure I am fit to drive before each shift and to immediately report any concerns about my fitness to my supervisor/manager and, if legally required, to Transport for NSW (TfNSW).
I understand that failure to be fit for duty or to truthfully complete this declaration may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment/contract, and may have legal consequences.
